With a dual background in architecture and landscape design, Aishwarya Dharmarajan brings a multidisciplinary perspective to some of Starr Whitehouse’s most ambitious urban design and streetscape projects. She currently serves as project manager on the Starr Whitehouse-led Park Avenue Vision Plan for NYC DOT, overseeing graphic production and coordinating a large consultant team. For the Linc highway-to-park conversion in New Rochelle, Aishwarya is providing design detailing and construction documentation. Before joining Starr Whitehouse, Aishwarya was a designer at Bjarke Ingels Group, where she worked on design development, subconsultant coordination, and construction documentation for the North/West Battery Park City Resiliency Project — addressing the impacts of sea level rise and storm damage on a dense residential area in Lower Manhattan. Aishwarya received her bachelor of architecture from KRVIA, University of Mumbai and her master of landscape architecture from University of California, Berkeley. She has received the ASLA NCC Student Merit Award, H. Leland Vaughan Memorial Scholarship, ASLA Certificate of Merit in Graduate Category, and AWAF – KFA Architecture Scholarship, and has been recognized as a 2024 LAF Olmsted Scholar.
