Adriana Lenarczyk
Landscape Designer
Adriana Lenarczyk is a landscape designer with a background in environmental science and fine art. At Starr Whitehouse, she draws on her scientific knowledge to develop targeted planting strategies and invasive species management plans. For the Just Home senior housing development in the Bronx, she is supporting design of a healing garden for formerly incarcerated seniors, prioritizing accessibility, sensory engagement, and psychological well-being. For Starr Whitehouse’s Park Avenue Vision Plan, she is supporting planting design for expanded medians on eleven blocks of Park Avenue, emphasizing seasonal interest, urban resilience, and responsiveness to the ever-changing architectural character of this iconic corridor. For the reconstruction of Wolfe’s Pond Park Playground in Staten Island, she supported construction documentation and developed a sensory-responsive planting design tailored to the needs of neurodivergent children. Adriana’s past work with New York Restoration Project centered around wetland restoration, field monitoring, and expanding public engagement and access along the waterfront of Manhattan’s Sherman Creek Park. Adriana holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the City College of New York, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Queens College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
