Caroline Brodeur

Senior Landscape Designer

Caroline is a designer and planner working at the intersection of climate risk, infrastructure, and public space. She is passionate about understanding the role of environmental history, policy, and law in shaping climate adaptation responses that foreground ecological processes and community wellbeing. Prior to joining Starr Whitehouse, Caroline worked in landscape architecture and resilience planning across the eastern United States and in architectural practices in London and Paris. Caroline holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Urban Planning, both with distinction, from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She was awarded the Charles Eliot Travelling Fellowship for her research on coastal adaptation in the Great Lakes and has had her academic work recognized by an ASLA and two BSLA awards. She also earned a Bachelor of Architectural Studies with Dean’s List distinction from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
