Laura Starr addresses the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences Department of Landscape Architecture. Her lecture, titled “Wild for the City: Creating & Sustaining Urban Nature” discusses New York’s urban landscape and its role in city growth and protection from major storms. Starr Whitehouse displays designs from Bushwick Inlet Park and the Brooklyn Queens Expressway Enhancement Study at The Horticultural Society as part of “Currents in Green Infrastructure: Designs for a Sustainable New York City.” The exhibit is sponsored by the ASLA-NY in honor of Landscape Architecture Month.
